St. Anthony Italian Feast Days
This parish festival is normally celebrated on Friday, Saturday and Sunday on or before June 13th, the Feast of our patron, St. Anthony of Padua. This is traditionally one of the largest summer gatherings in the southern tier. The Feast Days features many Italian foods and pastries, games for adults and children and continuous entertainment. On Sunday there is a traditional Italian procession with St. Anthony through the streets of the North Side of Endicott. We need the help of over 800 volunteers to set-up, operate and tear-down for this celebration.
Lenten Fish Dinners
Each Friday during the six Fridays of Lent we sell baked and fried fish dinners to take-out or enjoy in the Church Hall. Volunteers are needed weekly to bake desserts or to help in the dining room.
With our parish focus on hospitality, we are looking for people to start a Ministry of Hospitality. This would include welcoming new parishioners, sponsoring a welcome reception on a quarterly basis for new members, assist in the pairing up of families with an established family here at St. Anthony’s and to follow up with newly registered people. They would also be responsible for creating and distributing Welcome bags. If interested, please call the office.
